LOSE5 is an online health platform designed to help you reach your weight loss goal. It allows you to thrive off the support of others and track your progress on a weekly basis. Australia is currently ranked the 5th most obese country in the OECD – an achievement we shouldn’t be proud of. Losing 5 kilograms for most is achievable – and only requires a few changes to our lifestyles. The LOSE5 challenge enables these changes.
Let’s be realistic! Making too much change at once can be overwhelming, so we’ve set you weekly challenges. Of course, we encourage you to eat a balanced diet, and reach the exercise recommendations – but zoom in on the weekly challenges and set yourself up for health success!
You can join as an INDIVIDUAL or start a GROUP ($40pp for 50 days).
Click on the join now button on the website. Once payment for the challenge has been made – you will be able to manage your own unique profile on the members page.
Building your profile is easy; add a photo, chose a nickname – and enter your progress on a weekly basis for 50 days. The platform will assist in keeping you accountable.
That’s fine! If you have registered as a group member you can monitor your own progress without the group having access to this information. Simply click the ‘do not share my profile’ within your profile settings. Your weight loss total will be excluded from the group view, but will still contribute to the overall weight loss calculation among participants. We acknowledge that some participants are more private than others, but we highly recommend sharing your result as it is a great way to encourage group participation.
Whether you sign up to the challenge as an individual or a group, many others will be participating in the same intake – therefore you will have a wide network of support that will be progressing towards the same goal!
Sharing your progress helps to keep you accountable. Simply hit ‘share’ within your own profile, or within your email setting.
That’s fine – you may still join the challenge. You will still receive the weekly emails to promote a happy and healthier life, and you may be able to help a friend along the way! Team work makes the dream work!
